| Saviour Movet posse montes Deus est ingens servare Est ingens servare Aeterna Scriptor salvationis Resurrexit et vicit sepulchrum Iesus vicit sepulchrum
Luce lux et ostende mundum Cantamus Gloriae Regis resurrexit
*yes, i made up salvationis. the real word is 'salus' but it's too short. so i made salvation, salvationis 3rd declension.
I'm pretty sure y'all can guess what song that is...=P

| so...on Wednesday it was a nice 70 degrees outside, and since i didn't go to crew for two weeks *more on that later* I went running around the neighborhood in shorts and a sleeveless t-shirt...
the NEXT day, thursday, was significantly colder...and I stayed up all night on thursday doing my APUSH outline and other makeup hw. Around 6:30 AM, Sarky the mongolian informs me we have no school. I was quite mad so i crammed in the new episode of Grey's anatomy before collapsing into bed. *BTW IZZIE AND GEORGE = GROSS
So thanks to the snow weekend, I was able to sleep my 2-week sickness away. During those two weeks, I did not go to crew at all. Well i went once in the middle, but then since it was freezing cold I made my sickness worse. So i missed two weeks of crew and the oh-so-fun ergathon that Sarah and James were telling me about.
I go back to crew today, and I'm expecting to go out on the water. Unfortunately, the first shift of Novice Guys*i was on the second shift* carelessly rammed into a woman's boat and broke their rudder. But i was inside the erg room. So as a punishment all the novice guys got to go on the marina run....which I think is about 5 miles....but I was lucky cuz the guys on the first boat had to run AND carry an oar at the same time. and oars are not light...they're about 25 10? pounds i think. Doesnt seem like much but after those miles....
hangout at grace yan's place: interesting. and unexpected. I did not expect Grace chai to show our masterpieces in progress to our vict- I mean recipient of honor. But since they were done by creative geniuses, it was approved.
I miss warm weather...and i REALLY hope the boat gets fixed soon cuz Colin *the coach* is really pissed at us.
and that's my random and totally pointless update on my life.

| i'm done with all those annoying midterms. i'm positive i failed practically every single one.
anyway, for a bit of humor to lighten up your day.
BUS CONVERSATIONS with the KKK Krew. *Ketcham/Kilpatrick/Koren
Neha: (blahblahblah) Lesley (who can't hear): ...you pee on catholics?? Neha: No! *laughs guiltily* Me (to vanni): Hey vanni, Neha pees on catholics Vanni: Those poor catholics! Thank God we're protestant. Me: We'd better warn them! Who do we know that's catholic? Besides Emily Brooke... Lesley: Hmm....is the Pope catholic?
aren't we so intelligent? and YES THE POPE IS CATHOLIC.
this is what hours and hours of studying for Precalc only to leave out the partial fraction decomp, the first word problem, the angular speed and linear speed problem, and a graph out of the midterm does to your brain.
3rd MP tomorrow. this time i have crew. will my grades get worse or better? hmmmmmmmmmm

| i'm so screwed for them....as usual.
Thursday: Period 1 - APUSH Period 2 - Orchestra Friday: Period 3 - Phys Ed Period 4 - Chemistry Honors Monday: Period 5 - Latin IV Period 6 - English H Tuesday: Period 7 - Lunch Period 8 - PreCalc H
at least my hard ones are separate. APUSH, Chem, PreCalc....
can't wait till they're all over.
EDIT DAY ONE: apush was surprisingly not that killer hard. i didnt know we had to know ch. 9 stuff though. and my essay kinda veered from the question. oops. orchestra was...i dunno...BORING. practiced trio with jina and brian. then played war with neha the simpleminded dyslexic. jk. then big rehearsal. then we graded ourselves....yeeaaaa...fun. screwed for chem!
EDITs DAY TWO & THREE: chem was long. i was really sick that day too...so i was miserable. i guessed on a lot. probably failed it. Latin, first part was okay. Beyer graded it immediately and i got a 95. the second translating part took forever and it was the first time our class had to ever use up the full time slot to finish something. that second part probably brought my grade down english was long and annoying. i got so annoyed i didn't care and just circled random answers. but seriously, who cares about the stage directions for hillsboro? who cares how many inches the top of the page has to be from the pagination?? ARGGGGGGH
APUSH grade is online. i just checked, and i can safely say that it's officially ruined this school week. My grades are horrifying now. It'll be a miracle if i can get into APUSH 2, Bio AP, & Calc AP. so in return for all my sucky grades, my hopes for college rest on...musical skill or athletic skill. and of both i have NONE. well i wouldn't be so bad at viola if i practiced. and crew.....i did start training for it again....it starts feb 12.....unfortunately in fall i was in the lower 50% of the team physically *being the short, rather weak asian amongst all the tall caucasians*. maybe i should become an entrepeneur or something.
or i can listen to Spinney and look at the 'big picture' aka 'no one will care in 10 years if you failed all your soph year midterms'
i wish.
^this post is getting an EMO bent...
